Swab Summer
Swab Summer is the beginning of swab (freshman) year, the first part of the journey
taken by new cadets. It is the most difficult and demanding period of military training
you will experience as a cadet, taking place over a period of eight weeks, one of
which is aboard the tall ship Eagle.
At the end of Swab Summer you and your classmates understand the expectations of
cadet life and are prepared to work as a team.
