LT Peter ImbrealeHaving a professor that has walked in your shoes can make all the difference. Such is the case for LT. Peter Imbriale, Academy graduate and new Management Department instructor.

“I aim to offer mentoring to cadets inside and outside of the classroom. I'm an Assistant Coach on the Track and Field team and I'm involved in various cadet activities and clubs,” said LT Imbriale.

As a cadet, LT Imbriale dreamed about returning to the Academy to teach. As an instructor, his goal is to shape future Coast Guard officers into better decision makers.

“Today's leaders need to have a strong foundation of core business competency and analytical ability to process, understand, and make decisions based on the vast amounts of data available to them,” said LT Imbriale.

Cadets will be challenged, understand the practical application of what they learn, and have fun along the way.

“I look for ways that cadets can move beyond memorizing concepts and terms, but instead learn to apply, analyze, evaluate, and create something new using their knowledge,” said LT Imbriale.
