Felicia Lombardi

Malden, MA - Class of 2021 Major: Government
Felicia Lombardi

Hi! My name is Felicia Lombardi and I was born and raised in Malden, Massachusetts, just seven miles north of Boston. Though neither of my parents served in the military their patriotism, alongside the example set by the veterans in my family, inspired my passion for service and country, which made the Coast Guard Academy a great fit for me. I have an older sister who is also a cadet at the Academy, and a younger brother who is still in high school. One of my favorite things about the Academy is the strong feeling of family and sense of community which reminds me a lot of the big Italian family I grew up in. At school I am a member of both the women’s soccer and women’s swimming teams, which can be difficult at times on top of schoolwork and military obligations but is altogether worth it. I also participate in Cadets Against Sexual Assault or CASA and the Women’s Leadership Council. Additionally, I do a lot of writing, exercising, and hanging out with friends in my free time.

The most important thing to know about me is that I am a dreamer and love a good challenge. With the right support system, attitude, and work ethic, I firmly believe that anything is possible. For that reason, I always keep a bucket list running of places I want to see, things I want to learn, and activities I want to do, so when the winters get long, and the homework gets hard, I have something to look forward to. Staying happy is my number one priority. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected].
