Electrical Engineering Internships

Internships

Electrical Engineering

During their 1st Class (senior) summer, many Electrical Engineering (EE) majors will pursue internship opportunities to further develop their engineering expertise. Interns work closely with project engineers, technicians and contractors on real-world projects, applying skills and knowledge they've learned in the classroom. Many of the internships lead to further involvement during the academic year either as a directed study or capstone design project.

Internship Opportunities

Electrical Engineering majors participate in a wide variety of internships, covering many areas of interest, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Big Data Analytics
  • Clean Energy and Power/Hybrid Propulsion Systems
  • Communications Systems
  • Cyber Security
  • Dynamic Positioning Systems
  • Electronic Navigation Systems
  • Image Processing/Computer Vision
  • Industrial Control Systems
  • Information Assurance
  • Key Management Infrastructure
  • Signal Processing
  • Signals and Electronic Intelligence
  • Unmanned Arial Vehicles
