Greetings from New London! It’s been difficult to keep up with blog entries, but I have found some time as 3/c year wraps up. This semester has been perhaps one of the most demanding I’ve had yet. I have thoroughly enjoyed some of my classes this year and have found myself reaching out in more leadership positions. I am excited to announce that I will be attending the U.S. Air Force Academy for the fall 2019 semester! I applied for the Service Academy Exchange Program because I wanted to do something that was outside of my comfort zone and be able to see how another service academy prepares its cadets to become future leaders. I’m nervous but also thrilled to meet new people and live in Colorado for a few months.

Graduation is almost here for my cadre, the Class of 2019. They have been a great influence on my development as a cadet and they will be greatly missed. The Class of 2022 is looking forward to their Eagle voyage in Europe and experiencing the many stations and cutters out in the fleet. The great Class of 2021 is preparing to step into the role of cadre this summer. It will be a challenging yet rewarding experience for all of us to step into this next big role.

Although this semester was difficult, I found it to be one of my favorites. I couldn’t have made it through without my friends, professors, and mentors. At the end of the semester, it was great to see 2020 and 2021 being to work together and plan for the summer training of AIM, CGAS, and of course, the Class of 2023.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions you have. I can be reached at [email protected].
