Quezon City, Philippines - Class of 2020 Major: Government
Eric Dionco Noble

Hey everyone! My name is Eric Joseph “EJ” Noble. I am an international cadet from Quezon City, Philippines. I am an only child. My father is a police officer in the Philippines and my mother is a sociologist. I am a huge NBA fan just like every other Filipino and I enjoy watching the Cleveland Cavaliers.

I am part of the pistol team and also participate in the Model United Nations Club, Golf Club, Culinary Club, Snowboarding Club, International Council, Glee Club, Asian Pacific American Council, and Officer’s Christian Fellowship.

I love to play golf, shop, eat exotic food and, whenever I get the chance, travel to new places. I have been to over 50 cities in Europe, U.S., and Asia. I had the opportunity to live and work in Bologna, Italy and Trondheim, Norway as an exchange student. As a hobby, I play the guitar and sing. My favorite pastime includes writing songs, recording, and editing them.

I applied to the Academy because I want to be educated at a world renowned military academy and use what I learn to help my country by serving in the Philippine Coast Guard. I am immensely honored to represent my country and grateful to God and the U.S. Government for the privilege of being a cadet in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. My email is
