Apprentice Leadership Program (ALP)
This three-day course is designed to provide consistent leadership and supervisory training to apprentice level personnel. This course is specifically intended to assist member growth from individual contributor to first-line supervisor. ALP provides a foundation in several leadership framework competencies associated with worker-level competencies in the Coast Guard. The Apprentice Leadership Program is taught during the course of instruction at all of the Coast Guard’s “A” Schools, as well as the DEPOT program at Training Center Cape May.

Class “A” school students, direct petty officer accessions at Cape May, New Jersey
