Lieutenant Tom Crowley is originally from Seekonk, Massachusetts. He reported to the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2002 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management in 2006. Upon graduating, LT Crowley’s first tour was as the Deck Watch Officer aboard the USCGC Bear, a 270-foot Medium Endurance Cutter, home-ported in Portsmouth, Virginia. From June 2006 through May 2008, LT Crowley served as the Electronic Materials Officer, Assistant Operations officer, Training Officer, and Law Enforcement Officer, conducting counter-drug and alien migrant interdiction operations in the Caribbean.
Following his tour on Bear, LT Crowley served from May 2008 to June 2010 as the as the Executive Officer onboard the USCGC Chinconteague (WPB 1320), a 110-foot Patrol Boat, home-ported in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he continued to specialize in counter drug and alien migrant interdiction law enforcement in one of the Coast Guard's busiest areas.
LT Crowley’s awards include the Coast Guard Commendation Medal, the Coast Guard Achievement Medal and various other unit and team awards.
LT Crowley is married to Joanne Crowley. They live in Quaker Hill, Connecticut with their dog, Molly and new son, Owen.
