ET1 Bryant began his military career as a Fire Control Technician in the U.S. Navy. After many West PAC deployments aboard Ticonderoga class cruisers USS Lake Erie (CG70) and USS Chosin (CG 65), he volunteered for an Individual Augmentee tour and served at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait with the U.S. Army. From there PO Bryant sought the opportunity with the U.S. Coast Guard and found his way to the CGC Morgenthau (WHEC 720) in Alameda, California, and then to the Weapons Augmentation Team in Key West, Florida.
