Robin Holzhauer works for the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer (diplomat). She specializes in public diplomacy, which focuses on media engagement, cultural and educational affairs, and building long-term relationships and fostering mutual understanding between the people of the United States and foreign publics. She has completed tours in Russia, Kosovo, Washington, D.C. and Venezuela. Her most recent assignment was as the Information Officer/Press Chief at the U.S. Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela. Prior to joining the department, Professor Holzhauer worked as a print journalist.
