Chief Petty Officer Doug Bullock, from Easton, Maryland, enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in Baltimore, Maryland, and completed boot camp in Cape May, New Jersey in 1997.
Chief Petty Officer Bullock’s afloat tours include the Deck Department Chief, USCGC Mohawk (WMEC-913), Key West, Florida and USCGC Seneca (WMEC-906), Boston, Massachusetts. Shore tours include Nautical Sciences instructor at the United States Coast Guard Academy, Executive Petty Officer of Coast Guard Station Jones Beach, Executive Petty Officer of Coast Guard Station Manistee, Deck Department Head Coast Guard Station Washington D.C., and the Navigation Information Service, Operations Center Supervisor at the U.S. Coast Guard Navigation Center, Alexandria Virginia.
Chief Petty Officer Bullock’s personal awards include the Coast Guard Commendation Medal with one gold star and an operational distinguishing device, the Coast Guard Achievement Medal, with two gold stars and an operational distinguishing device, and the Commandant’s Letter of Commendation with three gold stars and an operational distinguishing device.
Chief Petty Officer Bullock has been assigned to the Professional Studies Department of the Coast Guard Academy since August 2014.
Chief Petty Officer Bullock is married to his wife Abigail and has a daughter, Amanda Anne.
