Dr. Robert Pefferly, Fulbright Scholar
Dr. Pefferly was born and raised near Cleveland, Ohio and graduated as a member of the National Honor Society from Lakewood High School in 1987 and with High Honors in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Academy in 1991. After graduating with Honors for a Masters of Science in Probability and Statistics from CSUH, Dr. Pefferly was named a 1996 US-UK Fulbright Scholar to the University of Edinburgh, Scotland to study for a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics under Dr. Sandie Davie.

After studying in Scotland, Dr. Pefferly has held a number of professorships in Eastern Europe in Software Engineering (Lulea, Sweden), Econometrics (Tallinn, Estonia and Helsinki, Finland), Economics (Vilnius, Lithuania) and Applied Mathematics (Chisinau, Moldova). Dr. Pefferly has been published by the World Bank, along with various other academic, industrial journals/books, and has been a TED Talk Speaker.

While pursuing an academic career, Dr. Pefferly has also owned a number of programming and industrial consulting companies where he has worked for various NGOs, governments (France, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Greece, Denmark, Georgia, etc.) as well as in Wall Street and international Fortune 500 companies. Presently Dr. Pefferly is the Chief Data Scientist for a number of industrial organizations.
