Hi! My name is Ali Stinner, and I am from Allentown, Pennsylvania. I am the oldest of three in my family; I have a sister, Sydney and a brother, Ethan. I graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School, where I was a member of the golf team, the swimming and diving teams, marching and concert bands, as well as Science Olympiad. Apart from my grandfathers, I am the first member of my family to join any military branch, and this decision certainly came as a surprise! I first learned about the Academy between my junior and senior years of high school when I participated in the AIM Program.

Here at the Academy I am a Marine and Environmental Sciences major and I participate in a myriad of activities including cheerleading, regimental band, diving, and water polo. The advantage of attending a small school such as the Coast Guard Academy is having the ability to participate in such a variety of activities and being able to try new things, such as cheerleading.
