Finals: After the 7th Semester and after the 1st

(Academics, Class of 2016) Permanent link   All Posts
Hardin Photo Finals. It’s a word that makes the heart stop, causes sweat to form on the foreheads of the unsure, and makes people wake up with nightmares about their dreaded exam date. It is the day that tests your knowledge of the semester and it is a day that many only look forward to only to mark the countdown to their return to their families. 4/c look upon it as a day to stop the methodical repetition of our lives, and it is a halfway mark to the end of a long year. But, nobody looks forward to finals as much as the 1/c, or seniors.

The 1/c know that they only have to go through this process one last time before they can walk across that stage and receive their degree along with that coveted commission into the greatest service, the United States Coast Guard. Now that finals are over, I think that we all are leaving the Academy with some relief, and headed to our respective homes for some much needed rest and relaxation ready to return on January 6, 2013 off to a great start!
