This summer I had the privilege of being Swab Summer/R-Day cadre. It was by far one of the best experiences I have had thus far at the Academy. It was awesome just to see how the swabs learned and progressed from when they arrived to the conclusion of Swab Summer. Now that the 4/c have remained in our company, it feels great knowing that you had an integral part in their Academy experience and played a key role in their success as a 4/c and a cadet.
One of the great things about the Academy is the opportunities we have to lead underclass and serve in a mentoring role. I currently have two 3/c and two 4/c in my division and having the chance to lead them and be a mentor to them is one of the best aspects of this Academy. It feels great knowing that you can help them and play a part in their Academy experience.
