I participate in many of the religious programs at the Academy. During my swab summer I attended Vespers every Wednesday night, (which was really fun plus they have cookies!!) and Bible school and chapel every Sunday. Now I go to Friday Night Fellowship along with chapel and Officer’s Christian Fellowship, and all of them are a total blast. With OCF I was able to go on a Labor Day retreat to Camp Wightman where we played capture the flag between twin islands in their lake, which was a ton of fun. They have church trips on lots of long weekends, which is good for me because I live in Texas and cannot go home on those weekends. They also have many other weekend trips for things such as hiking, which I really enjoy. When I first arrived, I was worried that I would not be able to go to church but the Academy has plenty of activities for people of every faith.
